Hello Metis Friends!

As your pharmacist, I bring a wealth of experience to service delivery at MEDO Care. Originally from the Interlake, I worked as a pharmacy technician for 10 years before receiving my degree from University of Manitoba in 1993. I have extensive experience in retail practice with small independent start-ups and with large chains. I have also practiced in a community hospital, personal care homes and mental institution settings. I truly enjoy my profession and look forward to positioning MEDO Care as the pharmacy of choice for the Metis people and the Manitoba Metis Federation (MMF).

MEDO Care is now open for business at 150 Henry Avenue in Winnipeg. Our hours of operation are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. I invite you as a staff member of the MMF to visit our facility on the ground floor of the federation’s fome office and learn about the great services we will be delivering to our patients.

MEDO Care services are unique to both the pharmacy sector and to Manitoba. In the City of Winnipeg, we will pick-up prescriptions from your home or doctor’s office, fill those prescriptions and deliver them to your home. Our goal is to make filling prescriptions as easy as possible for our clients.

MEDO Care also makes it easy for you to transfer your existing prescriptions to us from other pharmacies. And MEDO Care pharmacy offers one-on-one counselling service for your prescription needs and usage.

I would be pleased to transfer your existing prescriptions to our pharmacy. Please call me at (204) 942-7220 or drop by to see me at the pharmacy. I will sit down with you and answer any pharmacy-related questions.

I look forward to seeing you at MEDO Care pharmacy!

Judy Skaritko, B.Sc (Pharm),
Pharmacy Manager
